What is the gauge of your LOVE TANK? I’m talking about the personal barometer that’s inside all of us that measures how much love we have in our lives.  Is your love tank running on empty or overflowing? I know when I’m running on empty I am NOT the person you want to be around, truly – Bratty Patty starts to come out….

If yours is on empty more often than not, here’s a great kick start to fueling your tank: 

When you get up in the morning – set your intention for who you want to be that day.  Starting from love is the easiest place to begin – plan to be a LOVING mom, daughter, sister, friend.  When you pass by the mirror – acknowledge the awesome YOU that is walking by. Yes I said AWESOME – SPECIAL – EXTRAORDINARY each and everyone of us is. In that moment, be so kind as to pick out one thing you absolutely love about yourself and admire it – sincerely (at this point it’s just you and the mirror – so please DON’T skip this). Then before your head hits the pillow at night – celebrate one thing about your day. It could be as simple as  ‘I absolutely loved my shot of espresso this morning’ or ‘I so love my curvy hips.’  You see the more you pay attention to YOU in a positive loving way the more your love tank fills up. The more your love tank fills up, the more love you are able to give to all those special people in your life and even those you don’t know, because when you’re overflowing it oozes out of you. It’s a beautiful cycle and the more often you create habits that force you to admire and celebrate yourself – the bigger guarantee your tank will never run on empty again.
