I thought I was saving time by purchasing online and doing a store pick up, but I soon found out everyone else had the same idea too...above photo.
Standing in line for 30 minutes without moving, I began to get extremely irritated. My mind started racing with all the other things I needed to do.
In that moment I realized I didn't have to feel that way.
In that moment I decided that getting irritated did not get me to the front of the line - it only exacerbated the wait time.
So I decided to be productive instead.
I pulled out my phone and began to create a "things still left to do" list.
Then I went to my emails and started clearing out ALL my inboxes.
And I finished with listening to a few voicemails and responding to some text messages.
By the time I reached the counter, I had a clean inbox, a neat list of what was left to get done and had answered all my pending messages.
I FELT AMAZING!
Every moment of every day you get the opportunity to empower yourself.
You get to choose if you want to feel stressed out and overwhelmed or productive and optimistic.
The same goes for the business your trying to build or the kids your trying to raise.
You get to choose how you want to feel in every moment.
And how you feel will always drive how you behave.
Simple concept - all you have to do is decide.
